New Student Enrollment Guide 🏫

Welcome to Belle Plaine School District!

We are thrilled to welcome your family to our community! To make Enrollment Day as quick and easy as possible, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Complete the Parent Portal Setup Form (Do This First!)

You can complete this preliminary form anytime before Enrollment Day from your phone or computer. Completing this ahead of time speeds up your setup in our system and gets you straight to final enrollment faster!

  • (A quick form to collect basic family & student info for account creation)

Step 2: Gather Required Documents

When you come to enroll in person, please bring the following essential documents with you to the Document Verification Table:

  • Proof of Residency (unless your out-of-district application is already approved)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Record

Step 3: Visit the Tech Station & Complete Online Enrollment

Once your documents are verified and your preliminary form is submitted, head over to the Tech Station. Our team will verify your account in the system and set you up at a district computer to complete official online enrollment.

🔑 Parent Portal Login Format:

  • Username: lastname.firstname (e.g., smith.john)
  • Default Password: dragons26

Step 4: Visit Your Building Secretary Table (Final Stop!)

Once your online enrollment is successfully submitted, make your way to your child's Building Secretary Table (Elementary, Middle, or High School) to finalize student fees and wrap up the process!

In-Person Enrollment Details

  • Date & Time: Monday, August 3rd | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Closed for lunch 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM)
  • Location: High School Gym

Returning Student Enrollment Guide 🎒

Welcome Back to Belle Plaine Schools!

We are excited to kick off another great school year! To help you navigate Enrollment Day smoothly, please find your family's situation below.

Option A: Completed Online Enrollment at Home

If you already completed your online enrollment through the Parent Portal before coming:

  • Skip the Tech & Check-in lines!
  • Go directly to your child’s Building Secretary Table (Elementary, Middle, or High School) to pay enrollment fees.

Option B: Need to Enroll In-Person

Depending on your Parent Portal status, here is where to go when you arrive:

1. Have an Active Portal Login & Ready to Enroll:

  • Go straight to an open computer at the Tech Station to log in and complete your forms.

2. Had an Account, but Locked Out or Inactive:

  • Stop by the Tech Station. Tech staff will reactivate your account and reset your password so you can log in on a district computer.

3. Never Had a Parent Portal Account:

  • Step 1: Visit: New Student Enrollment(https://bit.ly/BP357Enroll)
  • (A quick form to collect basic family & student info for account creation)
  • Step 2: Stop by the Tech Station so staff can process your account into the system.
  • Step 3: Log in on a district computer to complete official enrollment.

Final Stop for All In-Person Enrollees

Once your online enrollment is successfully submitted, head to your child's Building Secretary Table (Elementary, Middle, or High School) to pay enrollment fees and wrap up!

Please head to the HS Library after finishing enrollment to pick up your Chromebook!
