BELLE PLAINE

This is my first year as the Proud Superintendent of Belle Plaine Schools!

I started my teaching career 27 years ago in rhe Olathe School District where I taught first grade for 6 years and third grade for 3 years.  I also served as the district Summer School Principal for 3 years.  I then moved to Coffeyville, Kansas and served as the PreK-4^th grade Assistant Principal at Community Elementary.  From there I moved to Valley Center, Kansas where I served as the principal of West Elementary for 9 years and then the principal of Valley Center Middle School for 2 years.  Most recently, I served as the principal of Beech Elementary for 4 years.  That brings us to my current position as the Proud Superintendent of Belle Plaine Schools.

I am married to my wonderful wife Heather who is a Nurse Practitioner.  We have 3 boys.  Dylan is 22 and is in his first year of graduate school at KU School of Medicine where he is working for his doctorate in physical therapy.  Caden is 18 and will be a freshamn at K-State and will be studying pre-law.  Our youngest is Jagger and he is 3 years old and loves his big brothers.

When I am not as work, I love spending time with my family and rooting for the best team in the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs.  GO CHIEFS!
