Welcome Dr. Arnberger

Posted Date: 06/02/2021

Welcome to Belle Plaine, Dr. Arnberger!

DR ARNBERGER

Dr. Kelly Arnberger grew up in Abilene, KS and graduated from Abilene High School in 1986.  He played some junior college baseball and was a mediocre pitcher who liked to throw as many knuckleballs as he could because his fastball was not fast.  After two years of baseball he enrolled at Kansas State University where he earned three degrees and shook his head every time the Cats lost a big game.

Dr. Arnberger’s career in education began in 1991 and he looks forward to beginning his 31st year at Belle Plaine.  He taught social studies before becoming a building principal.  He became a superintendent in 2009 in Palco, Kansas.  Any success Dr. Arnberger has found in the education field has been through empowering others to help students succeed.

When not thinking about education related topics, Dr. Arnberger likes to read historical fiction, umpire baseball, cook, and visit new places.  Dr. Arnberger has two adult children and one granddaughter, Yani.
